The Importance of Undergoing A Periodontal Surgery
Periodontal disease is a gum infection when allowed to progress will lead to periodontitis and eventually tooth loss. However if dental condition is in serious stage there is a need for periodontal surgery. Periodontal surgery is a periodontal treatment when diagnosed with unhealthy tissues of the teeth which won't be able to be repaired with non- surgical treatments. Pocket Reduction,Regenerative Procedure,Crown Lengthening and Soft Tissue Graft are the most common periodontal surgery treatments.
Periodontal surgery is necessary when diagnosed with serious dental condition to regain the healthy gum tissues, if left untreated and by not having a periodontal surgery the risk for tooth loss increases as well as the risk of certain medical conditions such as heart attack and stroke.
